“Even though I knew what the Annual Report would look like, I was genuinely thrilled to see it printed. A great job…”

A Fond Farewell [11 May 2012]
As mentioned in an earlier post, April saw me deliver my final instructor-led software training courses. Good timing by all accounts as Adobe decided to revamp their training programme to coincide with the launch of Creative Suite 6. I doubt that I'll bother to sit any more of their Certified Expert exams as they provide me with zero benefits. Over the recent long UK holiday weekend I redesigned and rebuilt the [gawr-juhs] website. It's been a little while since I've done something like that, but it made me remember that I'm not a bad web designer or coder. I guess I just lost my confidence for a few months. It's certainly good to sharpen up those skills again though.

Software Training Announcement [18 March 2012]
As you can see by the lack of entries on this page – 2012 started where 2011 left off. My primary focus these days is firmly back on creative design and what excites me is helping customers to develop and implement appropriate branding. As a result I've taken my foot off the 'software training' accelerator. Given the number of creative projects that [gawr-juhs] currently has on its books I've reached the point where I no longer have time to 'prep' to deliver training courses. So from 06 April 2012 this aspect of my work will only be available to [gawr-juhs] customers. If you've arrived at this page via Adobe's Partner Finder or by using a search engine to look for training providers in Edinburgh – and are wondering why there aren't any details of software training courses – this is the reason why. I fully intend to keep my Adobe Certified Expert accreditation up to date though.
