Software Training Course Costs
I try to keep my software training course costs as competitive and as easy to follow as I can. I am delighted to announce that my prices for 2010 remain unchanged.

When training courses take place in locations that are outside a reasonable commuting distance from Edinburgh, budget hotel accommodation and travel expenses will be charged as additional items.

If you decide to use me as your training provider please contact me to discuss my availability for the dates you require training to take place.

Initially I reserve training dates in my diary for customers. These dates only become secure once I have received an official purchase order from your business or organisation.

In the event that you have to reschedule, postpone or even cancel a training course, I would be most grateful if you could contact me immediately

After a training course has taken place I will invoice your company or organisation for the amount agreed and shown on your purchase order. My standard payment terms are 21 days from the date of invoice.

Creative Design Fees
For creative projects I am happy to provide clients with an estimate prior to any work taking place. In adddition I can also undertake creative projects for clients who have a fixed or a limited budget. Whatever the cost, all aspects of the design process, from creative consultancy to artwork preparation and project management is included in the price.

I do not charge clients for initial consultation meetings, time spent traveling to and from their places of business, time taken up with telephone calls, writing emails or other written correspondence.

For simplicity and fairness I round my current standard rate for design down to the nearest quarter hour. As an example, if I design, produce and complete a project for you in 2 hours and 28 minutes, you would receive an invoice from me for 2 hours and 15 minutes.

I keep individual timesheets for each project and I am happy to submit copies of these to you with my invoice, should you require them.

When external suppliers need to be used I will obtain at least 3 quotations and inform you of the potential costs. Together we can decide which supplier offers the best quality at the best price.

I will not proceed with any external supplier until I have received written confirmation from your company or organisation to do so.

Additional fees required by external suppliers, commercial printers, sign manufacturers etc., are not included in current standard hourly rate.

Once a project has been completed and it has met you satisfaction I will invoice your company or organisation for the work done. My standard payment terms are 21 days from the date of invoice.
