I have been delivering software training courses to end-users across the United Kingdom for many years. From local authorities and academic institutions to television companies and design consultancies, my clients come from a broad range of industry sectors.
In general I am asked to run training courses for groups of between two and eight people. But I can deliver instructor-led courses to larger groups when a company has its own in-house computer training facility. At the other end of the scale, I am also happy to provide individual training too.
Training Considerations
All the software training courses I provide are delivered to clients on their premises. However I can organise training facilities in Edinburgh if required, but this is an additional cost.
As an Adobe Certified Instructor experience has taught me that people retain more information when they have had hands-on experience of using the software. So I ask clients to try and ensure that each course attendee has their own computer.
Most modern offices tend to have an open-plan environment so I recommend that a separate area is provided for training. This could be a small meeting room or something similar.
This area enables students to focus on course exercises without being distracted by email, telephones, and other general office activities. It also avoids disturbing employees who are not attending the course.
Professional Qualifications
I hold the following training qualifications:
Adobe Certified Instructor in Illustrator CS4
Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop CS4
Adobe Certified Instructor in Premiere Pro CS3
